Department of Fiqh and Usul Al-Fiqh is one of the sister departments under the Kulliya of Sharia'. It is most prominent and best active department of Darul Huda Islamic university from the beginning of department system in Darul Huda post graduate section, having a vision of producing genius jurispudential and innovative research scholars who deal with current issues with all ecstasy and awareness. There is a lecturingseries of prolific and proficient faculties on the core papers and some elective specialization papaers, it promotes the scholars to pursue the aim-oriented education and gain valuable skills to face and debate with the contemporary and complicated issues of Islamic jurisprudence and conduct many relevant and content oriented social and propagational creative programmes like Al Faqeeh quiz competition, Ijaba course, valuable discussions at Multhaqa Fuqahah, seminars etc. The graduated scholar can achieve the jurisprudential competitive experience and can introduce and present the contemporary Islamic jurisprudential issues with eligible and accurate arguments and evidence from the law text and jurisprudential references. In this short span of time, there has been a lot of scholars, from Kerala and outside, who graduated from the faculty. It advances with swift steps towards academic excellence through Sharia programmes and other associated agendas.
