IDarunnajath Islamic Complex, Vallappuzha, is the first subsidiary institution in Palakkad district of Darul Huda Islamic University, which initiated revolutionary changes in religious, social, and cultural spheres. Founded in 2001 under the leadership of the late E. K. Kamaluddeen Faizy, the institution currently provides education to around three hundred students. Darunnajath follows an integrated system of education that harmoniously combines traditional Islamic learning with modern academic disciplines. Every year after Ramadan, a new batch of thirty students is admitted. Through a special entrance examination, selected students are trained over a twelve-year period with the ultimate aim of preparing them for social service and community reform. Along with various scientific and technological subjects, proficiency in Arabic, Urdu, English, Hindi, and Malayalam, as well as a government-recognized university degree, form part of the curriculum. To support students’ academic and practical training, the institution actively maintains facilities such as a library, computer lab, science lab, and classes for public speaking and writing skills. Advancing with a lofty mission, the institution has successfully produced more than two hundred scholars. It is a matter of pride that its alumni are currently engaged in the propagation of Islamic teachings across different countries of the world—including the UK, Germany, Australia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman—as well as in various states of India..
