#ThisIsOurProphet DSU Rabee’ campaign Darul huda students’ union (DSU) is celebrating the holy month of rabee’ on the theme ‘This is our prophet’ with various programs and competitions. The campaign aims to introduce Prophet Muhammad in front of the world in a real way he came with and to correct the misunderstandings about him framed by the enemies of Islam.  The campaign will last for duration of one month (December 1-January 1). Tirurangadi: Thousands of students participated in a rally organized by SKSSF, Darul Huda Unit to oppose Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the country on 1st November 2016 Tuesday. Students of more than ten states of India gathered by demanding protection of Shariath Law and opposing Uniform Civil Code. P.V Abdul Wahab (Member of Parliament) inaugurated the rally and addressed on the seriousness of Uniform Civil code and wanted to stand united against UCC. Jabir Hudawi Trikaripur and Athar Raza Mumbai delivered keynote address.

Koonancheri: DSU UG summit concluded her in Darunnajath Arabic College with the active participation of organizational representatives from vivid UG institutions. Darul Huda PG dean KC Muhammed Baqawi inaugurated the summit soon after the flag off done by Darunnajath maneging committee general secrattary Abdul Azeeez. Shabeer Ali Hudawi Ponmala and Abid Hudawi Thachanna addressed the audience in two different themes. Darunnajath principple Anwar Swadiq Wafi, Musthafa Haithami Welimukku, Azeez master and Arif Hudawi deligated the function. Session like camp fire and discussion panel were also set up as part of summit.

Varsity campus: welcoming the new year of Hijra DSU & Asas jointly set up Hijra grand assembly here on Sunday. University vice chancellor Dr. Bahaudheen Nadwi delivered the key-note address while PG dean KC Muhammed Baqawi presided over the function. “Hijra was not a mere journey. It was a mission laid for the upliftment of the truth and was for the protection of faith, every history believer has much to learn from Hijrah”- VC conveyed during his address. Also, PG dean KC Muhammed Baqavi recited Dikr of the New Year. The current president KP Jasim Kondotty took pledge for New Year. Yoosuf Faizy, principal of SMS, director of NIICS Raffeq Hudawi, registrar of DHIU Jabirali Hudawi, Hassan Kutty Baqawi, Abdul Qadir Faizy, Ishaq Baqawi and Ibrahim Faizy presented in the stage.

Varsity Campus: Marking a new phase for the union, Sayyid Abbasali Shihab Thangal officially inaugurated the organizational activities of DSU working committee. “The scholars of tomorrow need to cope with the issues of modern world. Hence they should be well-equipped and prepared to face the challenges of time. It is praise worthy that Hudawis are playing their role in the community actively. ” The distribution of union membership was also inaugurated by Abbasali Thangal. Then a jurisprudential work by PG lecturer Ibrahim Faizy Karuvarakkund, namely Acharangalum adisthagnangakum (rituals and basics) was released during the ceremony. PG dean KC Muhammed Baqawi presided over the ceremony while President Jasim Kondotty and Secretary Abdul Latheef Palathungara delivered the opening and ending addresses respectively.

New face for ASAs. ASAs got its new committee for 2016-17 academic year

Hidaya Nagar : Al Huda Students Association (ASAs), The UG students’ organization of Darul Huda Islamic University, got its new committee for 2016-17 academic year. Muhammed Bilal Punnapra(degree third year) and Hamza Navaf Munniyoor(degree second year) elected as new president and secretary respectively. In the general assembly held at SMS block, UG principal Usthad Yusuf Faizy announced the new committee. As ASAs enters to its twenty fourth year this new committee is expected to introduce new projects and programmes in the coming year. The official inaugural ceremony is scheduled to be held on 5th  september 2016 Monday. Darul Huda freedom assembly ends revitalising national commitment

Darul Huda Islamic University celebrated the Independence Day of India, taking oath that it will painstakingly stay out to bring up a kind of generation who are absolutely loyal and dedicated for a peacefully co-existed India as a nation, while a national loyalty that wrongly premised on caste is in the limelight. In a Freedom Assembly Programme organised by Darul Huda Student's Union (DSU), in   collaboration with Al-huda Students' Association (ASAs), Dr. bahaudeen Nadwi, the honourable VC of DHIU hoisted the Indian flag. In a statement remarked as Independence day Message,  Dr. Nadwi stated that the loyalty towards nation could not be inclined to any of the religions or castes and it was essential to the social existence of each and every Indian as a citizen. "Scholars who possess proper sense of politics and promptly ready to build up a self-reliant nation can invariably serve to realisation of a loyal society", he added. The Freedom Message was followed by a series of programmes like freedom walk by assuring presence all students out of Kerala, taking oath for the sake of an Enlightened India, Freedom Parade, Freedom Speeches and National Commitment Songs in different languages.
