At the conference conducted in collaboration with KA Nizami Centre for Quranic studies, Aligarh Muslim University and Chair for Islamic studies and Researches, University of Calicut, Quranic research scholars from as many as ten nations presented their research papers. As many as thirty articles were presented in eight sessions of the conference. Yesterday(Wednesday), the second day, the conference was led in five academic sessions on Culture and Economy, Humanity and Fundamental Rights, Samha concept, Multi-culturalism, Religious pluralism and Shura and Politics.
Dr. Faisal khallaf, professor, Department of Thafsir and Hadith, University of Kuwait inaugurated the valedictory session of the conference which concluded at Greenland Convention Centre, Yesterday evening.
Dr. Bahaudheen Muhammed Nadwi, vice chancellor, Darul Huda Islamic university took the chair of the session, while the eminent US Quranic scholar Professor Dr. Joseph Lumbard delivered the keynote address via video conferencing. Dr. U.V.K Muhammed, Dr. Muhammed Abu Yaseen, Professor, Asian University and Dr. Abu Swalih Tariqul Islam, Professor, Islamic university, Bangladesh, attended the valedictory ceremony.
