About the VC

The Vice-Chancellor is the principal, academic and administrative officer of DHIU and chair of the Senate, the Syndicate, the Academic council and the finance committee. In general, the Vice-Chancellor is responsible for maintaining and promoting the professional excellence, academic quality, and vision and mission of the University. Each Department, Institute, Section or Centre is managed by a Dean, a principal or a director who reports directly to the Vice-Chancellor.

The Office of Vice-Chancellor provides a focal point for the co-ordinations of University’s academic and administrative activities, providing advice and support to vice chancellor on all strategic and management matters.
